There were many lessons that I learnt during this course that will assist me through life. I was made to understand that whenever you are moving to the next level in anything you have to learn to dig deeper. Also one must be willing to move along with the fast paste in which technology is developing or prepare to be left behind. I recognized that I almost got left behind but this course helps me to understand the great benefits I will lose out on if I stay behind. so with renew energy I promise I a m not going to stay behind
What next
Throughout my life I played a lot of competitive sports and never afraid of any challenge. This course was indeed a challenge to me; at one time I thought that this time the challenge was too much for me and I may have to accept defeat, but knowing the resilient sprite that I posses I decided to hold on and fight and today I am almost there. Truly I am asking myself what next for sure these thing that I learn about innovative technology must be further research for me to understand them better and use in my day to day affairs as a Minister of the Gospel. I cannot take all the credit for the accomplishment my colleagues, professor Disso and most of all Almighty God I must say a heartfelt thanks. I believe I did well.
you tube
Over the years I have heard about you tube, seen some videos on you tube but never had any idea that one day I will be able to upload something on you tube to me it was an accomplishment that is note worthy. Could you imagine take your story and making it digital, this is something that I will never forget. It took a lot out of my time and teach me how to exercise patience. So I am going to buy myself a good camera because I need to tell my story using technology.

Digital storytelling
well at last I made it.I remember when I began this course we were asked to introduce ourselves using a video, I could not have done that but now we have come to the end of this course, that is indeed something to shout about. yes the challenge was worth a fight I took my upper cuts, I have been pushed to the ropes but I dance my way out, now I am ready to tell the story by using this media tool.

Teaching Standards
In a world of increasing technology and the open up of the information high way, it is necessary that emphasis be place on the quality of the end product. The quality of the end produce will depend largely on the standard of that institution in delivering the product. The word standard according to online dictionary is a reference point where other things can be evaluated. With teaching and learning there must be a reference point for evaluation.According to grateSchool staff (2012) standard are guide post for school. Teacher, Parents and Students use them as tools to focus of what students are expected to learn.
According to Developing a frame work for teaching and learning in Australian higher education and the role of the TEQSA there are some conceptual difference between teaching and learning standards.
Teaching standards might best be viewed as ‘process’ or ‘delivery’ standards. These are the aspects of institutional provision or educational delivery commonly accepted to have an effect on the quality of student learning. These include curriculum design, the quality of teaching, student learning support, and the infrastructure which directly supports the processes of teaching and learning.
Learning standards are best viewed as outcome standards. Learning standards describe the nature and levels of student attainment—what students and graduates know and can do. Student attainment is known by various expressions, such as learning outcomes, competencies and the like, often with significant shades of meaning.
Broadly, however, learning standards apply to desired areas of knowledge and skills and the levels of attainment required for graduation and for the award of grades at pass level or above. The National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) the standards for learning, teaching, and leading in the digital age. There are several benefits that can derive from (NETS) 1 Improving higher-order thinking skill, such as problem solving, critical thinking, and creativity. 2 preparing students for their future in a competitive global market. 3 designing student-centered, project-based, and online learning environments. 4 Guiding systemic change in our schools to create digital places of learning.
In my country there is a one laptop per child policy. This will enhance the use of technology in the schools and will be beneficial to both teachers and students so we can say where standard is concern in ISTE ST Vincent is moving in the right direction.
